A Love Affair Workshop \\ SUMMER edition!

Love Affair Workshop August 11 2015 signup After our April workshop sold out so quickly, for the first time ever we’re going to be offering a SUMMER workshop on our farm! We’re so excited for this day of teaching and inspiration to take your photography business to the next level! Teaching and sharing the ups and downs of business + photography has become a huge passion of ours, and we are always so blessed by the amazing photographers we get to connect with! Tim and I have learned so much in our 5 full time years of business and it’s truly an honor to share some of our insight into this beautiful industry of photography. We’ll be covering topics like:

Booking your calendar solid

Branding

Finding and creating inspiration

Having strong and consistent business practices

Attracting your ideal client

Defining your style

Marketing

Maintaining a thriving full-time photography business

How to capture genuine emotion

The art of un-posing

Shooting creatively + consistently in all types of lighting situations

How to get published (and why it’s good for your business)

..and so much more – plus a beautiful styled shoot with the crazy talented Oleander Florals + Events!

Here’s what a few past attendees had to say about their experience…

“Lauren + Tim were so sweet to literally be an open book for the day and allow us to learn from their experiences. These two are so real and I love that they put Christ first in their company. It’s so easy to get a bad case of the gimmies in this industry, so to sit back and remember that it’s not about what we want or what we think we need, but what God has planned for our company, is so important. Thank you so much, Lauren + Tim, for your hospitality and willingness to share your mind with this ‘very large’ photography community! 😉 You two are so fabulous.” ~ Ali & Paul Co.

“When I saw the Facebook posting about the Love Affair Workshop hosted by Lauren and Tim, I wanted to jump on it immediately. But I had to sit back and think how will this workshop truly benefit me? Granted, it’s always great to meet other photographers and photograph a fabulous stylized shoot, but I need to be smart with my investment and my time.  Can I just say how happy I am that I decided to attend the Love Affair Workshop? What I wanted to gain from this experience was not just pretty photos, but how to let go of fear, ways to become a successful wedding photographer, and how to stand out in this ever growing community. And most importantly how to challenge myself and meet those goals. I got that and more. Of course the advice given was simply what worked for Lauren in her journey, but her experience was an eye opener, reminding me that my dreams are obtainable. Gosh, Lauren and Tim are crazy amazing — and not just as photographers. Lauren and Tim have this ability to make you feel at ease, comfortable, like you’re a long lost friend catching up on life over a cup of coffee. Lauren was most certainly a great mentor and listener, not once did I feel awkward asking her a million questions, nor did I felt she held back. They spilled their hearts into this workshop and allowed me to take a bit of it home. And for that, thank you!” ~Vanessa Marie Photography

“Wow- If only there were one really amazing word that I could use to sum up and describe this past weekend! I had the privilege of attending a workshop in Pennsylvania with Lauren + Tim Fair, a photography team I have been admiring for years now! These two gave so much insight on developing and maintaining a successful photography business along with a ton of other helpful tips and tricks! Aside from just learning a ton of incredible information, I formed so many new friendships that weekend with their team as well as the other workshop attendees. I am so blessed to have crossed paths with each and every one of them! We all ended our day with a drop dead gorgeous styled shoot so we could put our new tips into practice! Now, when I say “drop dead gorgeous”… I mean DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! The people working behind the scenes setting all of this up deserve a trophy- or at least a really heart felt high-five.” ~Ashley McKinney, Shining Light Photography
