Scotland in May \\ Personal + Travel photos

A few weeks ago, we had the opportunity to go to Scotland with an amazing couple to shoot their engagement session in Edinburgh! It was our first time there, and we completely fell in love with the countryside. Aubrey + Brian were the best hosts, and we had a seriously epic shoot in the city + hills around the city. More on that coming soon 🙂 We just got our film scans back today from our trip, so here’s a look into this beautiful country….and next time we go back, we are totally going to the island of Skye (Skyfall, anyone?!).

Flying in, it looked so tropical….not so much once we landed, haha.

Loch Leven, a beautiful lake about an hour outside Edinburgh.

We loved the castles! The history of Scotland is so epic and bloody – soooo many wars / beheadings / plots for murder happened in these castles. It was super interesting to learn about!

Dunferlamine Abbey.

St. Andrews by the sea! Our favorite town.

Edinburgh Castle sits high above the city.

Our shoot location!!!

Tired, freezing, + so excited after our shoot…

Driving through the countryside…
