I’m not sure even where to start when describing Roxane + Pierre’s breathtaking Belgium wedding! This was our first visit to Belgium, and the area around Tenneville’s La Ferme Du Chateau was so full of natural beauty, it was unreal! We had been looking forward to their wedding weekend for over a year, and the amount of love, detail and care they poured into their wedding celebration was such a joy to document! The girls got ready together at a charming farmhouse with a greenhouse, while the men were in town, and I am pretty sure I was the happiest photographers ever to be able to capture all the getting ready photos with the girls outdoors in such natural beauty! Roxane’s bridesmaids, at suggestion from Pierre, had the florist stitch into her bouquet ribbons words that they saw in Roxane – words like lovely, vivacious, magnificent, beautiful and so on! It was such a sweet moment when they handed it to her and she read all the beautiful messages from her girls! Pierre drove to the church in town with his best man through the most incredible woods, and their ceremony was so emotional and full of music! It was such a funny moment when they exited the church to get in their vintage getaway car and a local parade’s characters surrounded them as people nearby cheered! The toasts from family, siblings and friends at the dinner were ALL in French – but I could tell how meaningful the words were just by watching Pierre + Roxane’s reactions, and they were so, so beautiful. The amount of love that surrounded these two on their wedding day was tangible and we were so privileged to capture all the beauty. All the French, Belgian and international guests danced til SIX A.M. – can you believe it?! The energy was just incredible and we would relive this day again and again if we could! I also have to mention how incredible cool these two are – Roxane and Pierre are both pilots working for Qtar Airlines, which officially makes them the coolest jet-setting couple we know! Roxane and Pierre, it was truly our honor and privilege to travel to Belgium to capture your wedding day. We LOVE you two and know you are going to continue having the most amazing life together!
