Bohemian Inspired Styled Shoot {aka Greg + Olivia’s engagement!!!}

This was such an incredible day. We blogged a little preview of Greg + Olivia’s proposal, but here’s the whole styled shoot + proposal! We designed the pink + teal “glam bohemian”  theme as an inspiration to anyone planning their wedding who loves bright colors, floral crowns, + shimmery gold elements, and rustic furniture. Huge thanks to Savannah’s Garden (one of our favorite florists ever!) for the stunning florals, Megan Good, one of our past brides, of Sparkle Motion Decor for the name tags, love bead necklace name holders, chair backs, and cupcake heart toothpicks, my hubby for building props on the back of the doors and generally flowing with my crazy ideas, and of COURSE our amazing models + newly engaged couple Liv and Greg (aka Willow Tree Films, our cinematography partner duo!) Greg came to us with the idea of proposing to his sweet girlfriend Liv during the shoot, and we were seriously ecstatic. It literally went perfectly, and she had NO clue. The best 🙂 🙂 Here’s a look into the day…

We used elements of gold, pink, teal and a hint of orange along with big, bold beautiful florals.

We are obsessed with this bouquet Laura put together!

These invites/save the dates are free printables from the Wedding Chicks!

Special thanks to Brittany Hirschoff for the cupcakes…which we devoured as a celebration later 🙂 Oh, and I made the cake…I wanted an easy, rustic cake with fruits + flowers, and couldn’t get one baker in the area to get on board, haha. So I made it! Really easy actually…multiple pans of pound cake, powdered sugar, and fresh raspberries, strawberries and pink carnations to top it. The layers in between are icing + strawberry jam. Look at how cute and happy they are even BEFORE the proposal!

….and here we go!! Olivia calmly relaxed as we transitioned to the “picnic” scene, while Greg announced he had one more prop in the car…..

…the moment Olivia realized this might not be an ordinary photo shoot….

….and then we lost Liv for the rest of the night as she couldn’t stop staring at her gorgeous ring!! haha!

See what I mean?? 😉

YES! We pulled it off!

Time for a few engagement portraits…

This was another cute part….Greg gave her a little instax camera and had her document the day leading up to it…so of course ring photos were a must!

…and a few film outtakes that we loved!
