We’ve photographed probably around 200 unique venues in our career, and we’ve seen some really stunning ones that cater to our type of couples! I can remember planning our own wedding and feeling completely overwhelmed and frustrated that I couldn’t find a complete list of awesome venues that weren’t the traditional catering halls. Not surprisingly, one of the common questions we get in emails from prospective brides to be is “What are some gorgeous venues we should check out?” We love working with couples planning out of the ordinary, beautiful, outdoorsy, unique + stylish weddings, and your venue can play a huge part in setting the tone for your day! From venues that are a blank canvas to ones that hardly require any decorations at all, we’ve rounded up our absolute favorite venues in the Tri-State area on the East Coast and are excited to share them with you today! Although this is by NO means a comprehensive list (considering that there’s probably 30 amazing venues in Lancaster alone!), we’ve narrowed it down to a list that we hope helps couples choose their dream venue.
1. Greenville Country Club, Wilmington DE
Greenville Country Club is perfect for couples who want an estate garden feel. The ceremony site here is completely stunning and has the feel of an English manor home, overgrown in ivy + with a fairytale-esque brick turret.
